Job summary

Manchester Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support the supervising Occupational Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans in a FT/PRN capacity. The OTA provides direct patient care, participates in program development, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Must be COTA certified.
• Experience with POS care delivery and EMRs.
• Ability to gather objective data for assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment to residents per plan of care.
• Implement intervention plans including ADL training.
• Gather objective data for Section GG assessments.
• Participate in program development and clinical programming.
• Monitor residents and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMRs.
• Educate residents and families on safe techniques.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff; attend care plan meetings.
