RI Council 94 in Cranston, RI is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to perform routine OT treatment procedures under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist, contributing to patient progress in hospital and rehab settings. The role requires travel between Cranston and Pascoag as clinically needed.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a salary range of $73,210.00 to $82,203.00 per year.

Competenze

• Graduation from a certified occupational therapy assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Mansioni

• Perform routine occupational therapy treatment procedures under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Assist in preparing OT treatment modalities.
• Assist in developing patient evaluation and treatment plans and techniques.
• Monitor and assess patient progress under supervision of an OTR.
• Recommend plan modifications to an OTR.
• Instruct patients in the use of adaptive devices.
• Observe safety precautions and maintain treatment areas.
• Prepare and maintain treatment records.
