State of Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide routine occupational therapy under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist. The role includes assisting with treatment plans, preparing modalities, and monitoring patient progress in a hospital setting.

The preferred candidate will have graduation from an accredited COTA program and at least one year of experience

Qualificações

• Graduation from a certified occupational therapy assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine occupational therapy treatment procedures as determined by a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Assist in preparing treatment modalities and developing patient evaluation and treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in the use of adaptive devices and monitor progress under supervision.
