Job summary

Klarus Home Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide coordinated OT services to home health patients of all ages in the Denver, CO metro area under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The role involves care coordination and delivering high-quality therapy in patients' homes.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in OT, current state OT license, CPR certification, and preferred one year of experience as an OTA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current State License to practice occupational therapy.
• Military spouse licensing provision allows practice if licensed in good standing by another U.S. jurisdiction with equivalent requirements.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies.
• Proof of current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides coordinated occupational therapy to patients/clients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Participates in the coordination of care.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensures timely and accurate completion of documentation.
• Adheres to infection control measures and OSHA guidelines.
