Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The COTA will ensure treatment aligns with OT goals and document patient progress according to facility policy.

The role emphasizes collaboration with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care, timely progress notes, and professional conduct at all times, with duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress weekly.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
