Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will contribute to goal-driven care plans and document patient progress in a timely, compliant manner.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, strong patient service, and reliability in scheduling and clinical duties within a long-term care/geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide feedback to supervision occupational therapist via documentation or in any other method required by facility policy.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Report to work on time and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
