Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide targeted therapy under the supervision of an OT. You will deliver treatment per OT goals, document progress, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The role emphasizes geriatric and long-term care settings, with a focus on timely documentation and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the OT
• Provide treatment by adhering to goals developed by the OT
• Document patient progress weekly
• Collaborate with disciplines to deliver patient-centered care
• Demonstrate professionalism and punctuality
• Perform duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation
