Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in Morris Plains, New Jersey seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. The COTA will adhere to goals set by the OT and document progress as required by facility policy.

Experience with long-term or geriatric care is preferred. Excellent patient service, timely progress notes, and collaboration with all disciplines are essential for delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation writing skills.
• Ability to document patient progress with weekly notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide feedback and documentation to supervising OT as required by policy.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Carry out duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
