Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in Winfield, NJ seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best-practice treatments under OT supervision. You will implement goals set by the OT and document patient progress, ensuring timely weekly notes and collaboration with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient service, punctuality, and professionalism, with duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under supervision of the OT.
• Provide treatment per goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervising OT via documentation as required by facility policy.
