Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in New Union, Tennessee is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles to support therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will contribute to patient-centered treatment plans, document weekly progress notes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality geriatric care and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment per OT-developed goals.
• Document progress weekly.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure best patient-centered care.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Rehabilitation Director.
