Advocate Healthcare Center of East Boston is seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, resident-focused therapy services.

This position is full-time and open to new graduates as well as candidates with SNF experience. Located at 111 Orient Ave, Boston, MA 02128, the role offers day shifts, competitive pay of $40–$44

Qualifikationen

• ACOTE-accredited OTA program degree is required.
• NBCOT certification as COTA.
• Massachusetts COTA license or eligibility before start.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including resident transfers.

Aufgaben

• Provide OT treatments under supervision per care plans.
• Assist residents with ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and cognition.
• Monitor and document progress and changes in condition.
• Communicate with supervising OT and care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety.
