Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a skilled nursing facility in Massachusetts. This role welcomes new grads and experienced COTAs, offering a supportive environment, growth opportunities, and patient-centered care.

We provide a 13-week contract with option to extend or a permanent placement, with days shifts and competitive pay plus housing and travel stipends for travelers. Join a collaborative team focused on ADLs, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license/certification in the state of employment (or ability to obtain). New grads welcome!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT
• Implement individualized treatment plans to support patient goals
• Focus on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
