Job summary
Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our Valley View Villa facility in Fort Morgan, CO. The role provides direct rehab care under OT supervision in a post-acute setting within a nationwide network of Life Care facilities.
We offer flexible scheduling, an in-house rehab program, growth opportunities, and a strong team culture. NBCOT certification and state licensure are required; CPR is required on hire. New grads are welcome to apply.
Qualifications
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT)
- Current license/registration in the applicable state
- One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
Responsibilities
- Participates in community health matters and projects as appropriate
- Liaisons with patients, families and support departments to plan patient needs
- Demonstrates good body mechanics at all times
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Understands and follows laws, regulations and Life Care policies
- Maintains professional relationships with associates and vendors
