Life Care Center of Puyallup is seeking a COTA to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. The position is full-time with opportunities for growth in a Life Care facility in Tacoma, WA.
New grads are welcome. Candidates must be NBCOT certified upon hire and hold an active state license, with CPR certification required. Strong documentation skills and teamwork are essential for patient-centered care.
Competenze
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- Current state license in good standing
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
Mansioni
- Follow occupational treatment plans under supervising OT
- Chart appropriately and timely
- Utilize therapy software and documentation
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients
- Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
- Understand and follow Life Care policies and Code of Conduct
- Assist in patient safety and evacuation as needed
