Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles in Delaware. Eligible candidates earn an hourly pay range and a $7,500 retention bonus for the FT position.

The facility emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork with direct patient care responsibilities and collaborative rehabilitation planning. Ideal candidates hold a current COTA license and have experience in long-term or geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals per physician direction.
• Document patient status and educate patients and families in rehab methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals determined according to patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
