Job summary

Leisure Chateau Care and Rehabilitation Center in Lakewood Township, NJ is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support residents under supervision of an OT. You will implement individualized treatment plans and deliver OT services to promote independence and functional improvement in daily activities.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem options with a competitive hourly rate of $40 and a per diem rate of $43. Benefits include health, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program recognized by AOTA.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the state.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Provides OT interventions for ADLs and ROM exercises.
• Performs ADL evaluations under OT direction.
• Organizes and leads treatment groups with OT input.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in OT techniques.
• Collaborates with rehab team to develop resident programs.
• Maintains timely documentation for residents treated.
• Attends care and staff meetings as OT representative.
• Cleans and reports equipment maintenance needs.
• Ensures high-quality, compassionate service to residents.
