Job summary

Aventura at Shiloh Springs in Trotwood, OH is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate holds an Ohio COTA license, graduated from an accredited COTA program, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ohio COTA license is required.

• SNF/LTC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help residents improve independence with daily activities, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with OTs and the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals.
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress.
• Utilize Net Health for therapy documentation.
• Bring positive energy, creativity, and encouragement to the rehab gym.
• Celebrate the wins — both the big ones and the small ones!
