Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including transfer and ambulation, basic exercises, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to design adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress.
• Participate in patient education and training.
• Support a positive and inclusive environment for patients, families, and staff.
