Job summary

Aventura at Shiloh Springs in Trotwood, OH, is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will join our in-house rehab team serving the skilled nursing population, providing therapy under a licensed OT, focusing on independence and daily activities, with collaboration across disciplines.

We value energy, compassion, and a resident-centered approach, and you’ll document progress using Net Health and contribute to a collaborative rehab environment in a SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help residents improve independence with daily activities, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional skills.
• Collaborate with OTs and the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals.
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress.
• Utilize Net Health for therapy documentation.
• Bring positive energy, creativity, and encouragement to the rehab gym.
• Celebrate the wins - both the big ones and the small ones!
