Job summary

Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will work under the supervision of an OT to deliver skilled therapies, perform ADL training, and promote residents' independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current and valid COTA licensure.
• CPR certification required or obtained upon hire.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions including ADL training and mobility tasks.
• Document residents' treatments, progress, and responses per standards.
• Communicate with the supervising OT regarding progress and plan modifications.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, adaptive strategies, and home safety.
