Job summary

Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will work under the supervision of an OT to deliver skilled therapies, perform ADL training, and promote residents' independence and safety.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone, NC. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve their ability to perform daily living activities, maximize independence, and enhance quality of life.

About the Role:

As a COTA at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist
• Providing occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, ADL training, adaptive equipment use, and functional mobility tasks
• Documenting residents' treatments, progress, and response to interventions in accordance with facility and regulatory standardsCommunicating regularly with the supervising OT regarding residents' progress and recommending modifications to treatment plans when appropriate
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptive strategies, and home safety techniques to promote continued independence
• Adhering to facility policies, professional standards of practice, and all state and federal regulations
