Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current California COTA certification is required.
• Experience working with individuals with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and maintain equipment.
• Monitor and document client progress and report to the supervising OT.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on exercises for progress outside sessions.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
