Job summary

Encore Communities is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide Occupational Therapy services to residents in their place of residence on an intermittent basis. The role supports treatment planning and implements interventions under supervision, ensuring patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates include new graduates with a COTA license; require an associate degree, fingerprint clearance, and CPR.

Qualifications

• New Graduates with COTA license welcome.
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred.
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication while functioning under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Monitors guest’s response to intervention and consults with Occupational Therapist if modification is required.
