Job summary

TheraCare Staten Island is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the Early Intervention program to provide services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays directly in their natural environment.

The ideal candidate will have a COTA license, experience in pediatric therapy is preferred, and strong communication skills. Flexible scheduling and competitive rates are available along with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Current NYS license and registration as COTA.
• Experience in early childhood or pediatric therapy strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services for children ages 0–3.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals.
• Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members.
