Job summary

Volunteers of America Greater New York is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support preschool students in the Bronx Early Learning Center. You will deliver pediatric OT services under supervision and help implement treatment plans.

Qualified candidates hold an NYS COTA license, NBCOT, and an Associate's degree from an accredited COTA program. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited COTA program with an Associate's degree.
• New York State COTA license is required.
• NBCOT certification with pediatrics experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services to students in the school setting as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist the OT in evaluating children and developing treatment plans.
• Maintain records and documentation as required by third party payers and VOA.
• Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventories.
• Meet regularly with the OT for supervision and participate in ongoing professional development.
