Autumn Lake Healthcare at Salem County is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to fill a full-time position. You'll be part of our esteemed skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care.

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients by developing a treatment plan that meets the patient's individual needs and improves their quality of life. You will observe, assess, and document progress in a timely manner, while communicating effectively with the therapy team, patient, and family. In this position, we will rely on you to provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues. Am I guaranteed 40 hours?
While we cannot guarantee hours, we are typically able to offer a full caseload. Most of our facilities are in close proximity, allowing us to offer additional hours at nearby locations.

Do you give raises?
Staff are eligible for performance reviews, where there is always an opportunity for an increase.

Why is this position open?
Our field offers a variety of practice areas. Therapists/DORs who leave our company often do so to pursue other specialties. Many stay PRN with us, and it’s rare for therapists to join competing SNFs.

How does corporate support the therapists on the floors?
Most of our Regional Directors and many corporate members are therapists themselves. They understand the challenges of Medicare and insurance guidelines and work directly with teams to ensure support.

What support do you provide for new grads?
