Job Opening: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Cunico Health & Wellness

Cunico Health & Wellness is seeking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with individuals to help them develop essential life skills that enhance their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

1. Work under the direction of occupational therapists to plan, implement, or administer programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.
2. Monitor patients' performance in therapy activities and provide encouragement.
3. Assist in instructing patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
4. Observe and record patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
5. Assist occupational therapists with implementing treatment plans.
6. Report to supervisors on patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
7. Perform clerical duties as needed.

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials in New Jersey.
