Job summary

Cane Ridge Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Antioch, TN is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT. You will help residents achieve functional goals and support ADLs and mobility in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting services, educating residents and families, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current, unencumbered Tennessee COTA license.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing Experience Preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on ADLs, functional mobility, and other daily tasks.
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and report progress and concerns to the OT.
• Assist with resident and family education regarding adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and discharge planning.
