Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

This full-time role in Simpsonville, SC offers competitive hourly pay of $27–$32, comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision and life insurance, PTO with 401(k) matching, and opportunities for PRN work within our network.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in South Carolina (in good standing).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals.
• Assist with documentation of daily treatments and progress notes.
• Support interdisciplinary team communication regarding resident progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
