Job summary

Twinoakscare is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve their quality of life under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will plan and administer treatments, document thoroughly, support patients and families, and participate in meetings with the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license required.
• COTA credential required.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health EHR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions under supervision of an OT.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the OT.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate

• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required

• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long‑term care experience preferred

• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices

• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
