Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Florida is seeking a Costume Storage Manager to lead a dedicated Cast Members team and oversee order fulfillment and inventory control in our storage facilities. You will drive efficiency, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service while aligning with Disney's standards and culture.

This full-time role requires leadership experience, strong storage and logistics knowledge, and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hourly Cast Members in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong operational leadership background in storage or logistics.
• Knowledge of storage procedures and inventory control.
• Proven ability to prioritise and multitask workflows.
• Experience delivering written and oral feedback.
• Willingness to travel between work locations as needed.
• Comfort working around fabrics and textiles.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing storage facility operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, quality control, and shipping
• Schedule, train, and lead a storage facility team to address day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Review and prepare workflow, resource needs and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer service standards are met
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and implementing standards and procedures and aligning with Company guidelines
• Assist in supervising daily activities of the storage facility, including inventory control, space management, logistics, floor efficiency, shipping, and customer service
• Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed and all safety protocols are followed
• Meet regularly with storage facility leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for efficiency and loss prevention
• Assist in the logistics used to transport products to customers and internal facilities
• Support the collaborative and supportive working relationship with co-workers and support staff across all levels of the organization, and across partnering disciplines
• Proactively identify operational issues, recommend and implement strategies to resolve
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and staffing entertainment fittings

The Costume Storage Manager will support operations within our storage locations in Florida. This leadership position will lead a dedicated team of Cast Members. This position will supervise the order fulfillment and inventory management activities, ensuring quality standards and client service are met at every turn. As a leader, you will help drive efficiency and client satisfaction- two of the main goals of any customer service organization, while maintaining our safety standards. This position reports to the Manager-Costume Production and Sustainment, Warehouse Portfolio. This role is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in leading hourly Cast Members
• Previous experience in operational leadership
• Knowledge in storage facility procedures and inventory control
• Skilled in prioritizing and multitasking a variety of workflows
• Prior experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Skilled in identifying and following through on goals and objectives
• Experience delivering direct written and oral feedback
• Willingness to travel between work locations in a given day
• Ability to work around all types of fabrics, fibers, & synthetic
• Schedule availability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays

• Advanced Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
