Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support cost management across a portfolio of construction projects. The role covers preconstruction through closeout, with a collaborative, client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality commercial outcomes.

The successful candidate will advise on procurement, prepare estimates, manage budgets, and support contract administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, cost management, engineering, architecture, or a related construction discipline.
3–5 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management.
Experience supporting various project types including real estate, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on procurement strategies, vendor prequalification, bid evaluations, and contract award processes.
Prepare and review cost estimates, validate pricing, and identify value engineering opportunities.
Review proposals for scope completeness and pricing alignment with objectives.
Prepare and maintain budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
Develop risk registers and support teams in mitigating cost and schedule risks.
Manage cost control, including change orders and entitlement assessments.
Support contract administration and project closeout activities.
