Job summary

Turner & Townsend USA is seeking Cost Management Specialists at all levels to work on major infrastructure projects across rail, aviation, manufacturing, and data centers. You will develop cost controls, forecasts and reports while collaborating with clients and contractor teams to meet budgets and KPIs.

The role emphasizes professional development, training, and progression opportunities, with on-site client visits and evolving responsibilities in cost and commercial management.

Qualifications

• Contract Management (NEC3, Option A,C & E preferred).
• Cost Management methods and forecasting.
• Change management and control processes.
• Valuation and procurement knowledge.
• Reporting and governance practices.
• Collaborative project execution mindset.
• Commission management.
• Driving efficiencies and improvements across the lifecycle.
• Construction industry knowledge of procurement routes and value engineering.
• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Ideally hold or be working towards professional body membership or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishing professional relationships with clients, colleagues and project parties.
• Administering contracts per project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget.
• Monitoring cost variance and contract cash flow and timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and objectives.
• Managing contract change to stay within governance and best practice.
• Improving forecast accuracy and budgets.
• Providing commercial knowledge to stakeholders.
• Ensuring final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
• Leading people and commissions as needed.
