Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in New York, NY is offering a Cost Management Intern position to join our cost team. You will support pricing investigations, review outputs for errors, and assist in assessing scope and schedule costs.

The role is an entry-level internship for students in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or finance, with ABET-accredited program completion by Summer 2027. On-site in NYC with mentorship and hands-on learning.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Management Intern to join our New York, NY office.

Your Role

• Perform material pricing investigations
• Review cost management outputs for math/logic errors
• Assist cost managers with cost related assessments of scope and schedule
• Perform cost data analytics review and modeling, as required
• Support in the preparation of cost reports

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering, architecture, construction management, finance or related program degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
