AtkinsRéalis in New York, NY invites a Cost Management Intern to support cost control activities across our project portfolio. You will perform material pricing investigations, review outputs for math/logic accuracy, and assist cost managers with scope and schedule assessments as part of a hands-on learning experience.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning with mentorship from professionals, Client Site Visits, Lunch & Learns, and broad exposure to the firm’s global network.

• Basic computer skills to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
• Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Cost Management Intern to join our New York, NY office.

Your Role

• Perform material pricing investigations


• Review cost management outputs for math/logic errors


• Assist cost managers with cost related assessments of scope and schedule


• Perform cost data analytics review and modeling, as required


• Support in the preparation of cost reports

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.


• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering, architecture, construction management, finance or related program degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Spring 2027).


• SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
