Cumming Group in Denver, CO is seeking an Associate Director, Cost Management to lead cost management across a diverse portfolio. This leadership role oversees client relationships, budgets, billing, and business development, with a focus on delivering value on complex projects.

Candidates should have 6–12 years of cost and commercial management or quantity surveying experience, a BS in a related field, and preferred MRICS/AssocRICS/CCP/CEP/CPE certification.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years in Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation.
• Education: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Preferred Certification: MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP or CPE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large client or multiple small clients and supervise communications with client management and Cost & Commercial Management team.
• Promote opportunities for repeat business and build strong client relationships.
• Maintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
• Responsible for monthly billing and projections.
• Lead staff development through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring; support recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Develop fee proposals and manage proposals; drive revenue growth.
