Oklo is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage cost identification and capitalization for capital projects, including plant and inventory workstreams. The role partners with project controllers, procurement, and AP to ensure GAAP-compliant spend and asset capitalization.

You will maintain fixed asset records, run monthly depreciation, and support SOX controls and audits. Key duties include managing the fixed asset register, ensuring timely placement in service, and performing month-end close

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with fixed asset or cost accounting responsibilities.
• Experience managing fixed asset additions, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations, and capitalization assessments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, fixed asset accounting principles, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Review project spend for proper capitalization and ensure asset descriptions and services are accurate.
• Prepare fixed asset journal entries, depreciation calculations, and roll-forwards.
• Support internal/external audits with fixed asset schedules and documentation.
• Reconcile fixed asset subledger to general ledger monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate periodic physical inventories and asset verifications.
