Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Cost Estimator to join Advisory Services in Seattle. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop conceptual and detailed estimates for infrastructure projects, performing quantity takeoffs and cost analyses.

Required: 4+ years in cost estimating, experience through planning/design, and knowledge of Life Cycle Cost and CSI/UniFormat. Hybrid work options available for collaboration with mentors and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction cost estimating or cost engineering.
• Experience preparing estimates through planning and design phases.
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Cost, CSI MasterFormat and UniFormat.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a multi-discipline engineering team as a cost estimator.
• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct quantity and material takeoffs.
• Build Basis of Cost Estimate from feedback and data.
• Perform market research to identify cost drivers.
• Engage with clients and teams in workshops to guide decisions.
