Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Cost Estimator/Analyst for a nuclear project in Idaho Falls, ID. The role focuses on developing, evaluating, and maintaining cost information to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and informed business decisions.

The position requires disciplined analysis, clear documentation of assumptions, and coordination across technical, project, and business stakeholders to ensure estimates are complete, traceable, and aligned with the scope of work.

Formación

• Knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to interpret technical scopes into cost estimates.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with spreadsheet-based reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain cost estimates and analyses for projects.
• Review scope, schedule, labor, material, and other inputs for completeness and consistency.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and basis of estimate.
• Analyze cost data, trends, variances, forecasts and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technical, project, procurement, finance, and other inputs to obtain estimates.
• Prepare cost reports, summaries, presentations for internal and client review.
• Support budgeting, planning, change evaluation, and decision-making with cost information.
• Maintain organized estimating records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
