Garmin is seeking a full-time Cost Engineer Intern at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing and Supply Chain to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership for components and parts.

The role emphasizes collaboration, cost reduction, and supporting lean initiatives across electronic and electro-mechanical commodities. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, MIS, CS or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing and Supply Chain to achieve lowest TCO.
• Assist in selecting component technology to meet functionality at low cost.
• Coordinate with facilities for component selection and benchmarking.
• Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
