Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Project Manager Intern for the Global Partnerships & Engineering Business Development team at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area for summer 2027.

You will provide project management and coordination from concept through mass production. You will work with multiple functional areas, learn to manage schedules, BOMs, and change control, and develop strong PM skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ is preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven project management experience or knowledge of PM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM team with defining objectives, requirements, timelines and milestones for internal and external staff.
• Learn to create and adjust project schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Assist with documentation for weekly status meetings.
• Understand market commitments and ensure schedules meet commitments.
• Coordinate with program managers on complex projects across functions.
