The role covers manufacturing and distribution operations, including process design/improvement, cost/benefit analyses, and reporting to management. Responsibilities include designing product flow, evaluating global distribution networks, and developing performance metrics for carriers and freight forwarders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Analytics, Business Administration or related field.
• Excellent academics (GPA ≥ 3.0).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and help implement efficient product flow processes that enhance productivity and accuracy of product movement.
• Analyze and model options for global distribution networks and provide recommendations for best options.
• Prepare reports based on findings and present to peers/management; prepare flow charts/diagrams as needed.
• Design performance metrics and scorecards that monitor carrier and freight spend, delivery performance, transit times, and service levels.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute metrics and reports to global stakeholders for monitoring volume, cost, performance and shipping behavior.
