Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Cost Engineer to support project controls, cost forecasting, and financial reporting for a large industrial construction project on Alaska's North Slope. This role will work with project leadership to monitor budgets, track progress, manage change orders, and ensure accurate cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires 3-5+ years of cost engineering experience, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and experience on industrial construction

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of cost engineering experience.
• Experience supporting industrial construction projects.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of cost forecasting, budget management and change order management.

Responsibilities

• Support project cost controls and project controls reporting.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Track project progress, productivity, and earned value metrics.
• Assist with change order estimates and change management.
• Create weekly and monthly cost reports for project leadership.
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost risks or variances.
• Analyze and communicate project trends through reports and dashboards.
• Support WBS development and work package coordination.
• Collaborate with field teams to track progress and productivity.
