Job summary

A leading pipeline service provider is seeking a Cost Engineer based in Anchorage, AK. This role involves cost management and economic analysis for capital projects, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least three years in cost engineering or project controls. Qualifications

• Three (3) years' experience in Cost engineering, project controls, or project cost management for capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience with cost forecasting, estimating, variance analysis, and economic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management, tracking, and forecasting for a portfolio of capital and expense projects.
• Perform month-end cost variance analysis in support of assurance and reporting processes.
• Prepare accruals and cost models to support project decision-making.
• Conduct monthly cost forecast reviews with internal clients.
• Provide governance to ensure compliance with approved cost control standards.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Ability to develop and manage cost models and forecasts

Education
