Job summary

A leading pipeline service provider is seeking a Cost Engineer based in Anchorage, AK. This role involves cost management and economic analysis for capital projects, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least three years in cost engineering or project controls. Responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, and compliance with cost control standards. Qualifications

  • Three (3) years' experience in Cost engineering, project controls, or project cost management for capital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with cost forecasting, estimating, variance analysis, and economic modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cost management, tracking, and forecasting for a portfolio of capital and expense projects.
  • Perform month-end cost variance analysis in support of assurance and reporting processes.
  • Prepare accruals and cost models to support project decision-making.
  • Conduct monthly cost forecast reviews with internal clients.
  • Provide governance to ensure compliance with approved cost control standards.

Skills

Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to develop and manage cost models and forecasts
Knowledge of project cost controls and estimating practices
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
