Job summary

This hybrid role requires 4–6 years of cost-control experience, strong Excel/ERP skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. On-site presence is expected three days per week.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of project cost-control experience in refining or petrochemical projects.
• Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, and project-control systems.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, looksups, cost curves.
• Strong forecasting, change control, risk management knowledge.
• Experience collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain budgets, commitments, actual costs, VOWD, cash-flow, accruals, and forecasts aligned to the WBS.
• Prepare and review monthly Forecast Final Cost reports and explain variances.
• Ensure cost forecasts align with project schedules and progress.
• Flag cost issues and propose solutions to the project team.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and semiannual forecasting and estimating processes.
• Track changes, risks, and opportunities in the cost tool.
• Verify coding of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and estimates; maintain cost logs and registers.
• Follow PEMEX Deer Park cost engineering and project-control procedures.
• Maintain cost data in SAP and other systems; prepare reports for stakeholders.
