Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an Intermediate Cost Engineer to provide cost reporting, forecasting, change management and project controls across a major capital program in Monaca, PA, near Pittsburgh. The role focuses on forecasting, CBS/WBS development and risk identification, with collaboration among project managers, engineers and stakeholders to drive informed decisions.

A construction background and strong Excel/cost software skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, estimating, or related roles.
• Experience with construction projects and large capital programs.
• Strong cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and project controls software; familiarity with SAP/EcoSys/Primavera preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports, forecasts, and trend analyses.
• Support budgets, CBS and WBS development for the capital program.
• Implement change management processes and track variances and contingency usage.
• Assist with cost forecasting, ETC analysis, and cash flow reporting.
• Produce dashboards and performance reports for project controls.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers and contractors to ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain project controls documentation in line with procedures.
