Essential Duties
Assemble daily and weekly production documentation control reports.
Perform cost analysis and spend tracking to monitor project costs and revenue, and forecast final financial outcomes.
Assist in or perform generation of project budgets and monthly forecasting within company-supported cost control software.
Use company-determined processes and practices to document, track, and report costs on assigned projects. Work with the project management and project controls teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
Support integration of company systems to track, monitor, and control costs. Monitor the job cost report against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in project close-out procedures by validating final revenue prior to final bill submission.
Audit accounting systems between company and owner systems to ensure accuracy.
Support the financial audit process on assigned projects.
Generate, analyze, and submit monthly reporting.
Maintain knowledge of company values and strategic plan.
Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
Education And/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
3+ years of experience in the construction industry, quantity tracking, or engineering required.
Developing written and verbal communication skills.
Developing knowledge of cost forecasting through understanding of the Job Cost Report.
Ability to forecast costs independently by analyzing actual costs and projecting accurately.
Assist in production pre-planning by gaining general construction knowledge.
Ability to identify risks and opportunities by analyzing data and identifying trends or areas of concern.
Show initiative in inquiries and document findings to mitigate risk or pursue opportunity.
