Job summary

PC Construction Company seeks a Cost Engineer to join our Project Controls Department. Become our next employee owner and help manage contracts, budgets, forecasting and change management, while collaborating with accounting to deepen understanding of A/P, A/R and payroll.

The role provides opportunities to develop expertise in construction contracting and cost management, with an emphasis on monthly forecasts, job billing and subcontracts. We offer competitive pay and stock participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing administrative activities on construction projects.
• Strong interest/understanding of construction contracting, budgeting, forecasting and change management.

Job Overview

Become our next employee owner and work with a great team in our Project Controls Department. This department supports all operations at PC Construction and provides an excellent environment to understand our company and the construction industry. The Cost Engineer position provides the perfect opportunity for an ambitious candidate to expand their understanding of, and expertise in, construction contracting, budgeting, forecasting and change management. In this role you will also collaborate with accounting and deepen your understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial forecasting.

Qualifications

The right candidate will have a bachelor's degree, along with three to five years’ experience successfully managing administrative activities on a construction project and a strong interest/understanding of construction contracting, budgeting, forecasting and change management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position has a pay range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includes company stock and a profit-sharing bonus.
