Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, a Weitz Company subsidiary, is hiring a Cost Controller Engineer to help establish and manage a cost control system to keep projects within budget. This role will identify deviations, analyze impact, and monitor corrective actions. The ideal candidate is open to relocation for future project needs.

This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week and coordination with site teams and project stakeholders to ensure cost accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost control, finance, accounting, or project coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience considered in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the project plan.
• Assist with earned value progress measurement.
• Monitor project cost estimates, expenditures, forecasts, and trend analysis.
• Maintain accuracy of cost data and identify deficiencies; propose corrective action.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization on project cost analysis.
• Support changes in project scope and contingency planning per contract requirements.
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure progress data accuracy.
• Assist the Project Controls Manager with cost reporting and Procore changes.
