Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to own core cost accounting processes including standard costing, inventory valuation, and month-end close. You will work with Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Production to ensure accurate costing and auditable financial reporting of inventory and COGS.

Ideal candidates have 7–9 years in cost accounting within manufacturing, strong Excel modeling skills, and GAAP expertise; NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of accounting experience with significant cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, cost roll-ups, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Experience owning month-end close for inventory and cost accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and inventory management practices.
• Experience integrating data across MES, PMS, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own standard costing and update costs for finished goods and components in ERP.
• Own inventory valuation and related financial reporting per GAAP.
• Lead month-end close activities for inventory and cost accounting.
• Analyze variances and explain discrepancies to senior management.
• Ensure ERP data integrity across PMS, MES, and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain, and Production teams.
• Design controls and processes to improve accuracy and audit readiness.
• Drive process improvements and automation in cost accounting and supply chain.
